De afgelopen weken heb ik voor het eerst een epilator gebruikt, namelijk de Silk épil 3 van Braun. Ik was erg benieuwd of deze epilator voor mij een beter alternatief dan scheren zou zijn. Tijdens het testen van dit product van Braun via Roamler kwam ik er alleen al snel achter dat er zowel voordelen als nadelen bij het gebruik kwamen kijken. Ten eerste is deze manier van ontharing een stuk pijnlijker dan scheren. Natuurlijk was dit te verwachten maar dit maakte het toch een stuk minder prettig. Een groter nadeel dan de pijn, die op een gegeven moment toch wel gaat wennen, is dat het lastig is om alle haartjes gelijk mee te krijgen. Ook had ik het persoonlijk handiger gevonden als dit product draadloos was geweest. Wat wel een pluspunt van deze epilator van Braun is het handige lichtje waardoor je goed kunt zien waar je het apparaat (nog) moet gebruiken. Ook had ik het idee dat haartjes wel langer wegbleven dan bij scheren wat een duidelijk pluspunt is!
